Thank you for purchasing artwork from Lesley’s Artwork.. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, pack and deliver orders.
1. Processing Times
All artworks are carefully prepared and packaged before dispatch.
Orders are typically dispatched within 7 business days after payment has been received in full.
Dispatch times may vary during busy periods, public holidays, exhibitions, or where special packaging arrangements are required.
If we expect a significant delay, we will contact you using the details provided with your order.
2. Shipping Locations
We currently ship within Australia and by agreement, selected international destinations.
If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us to discuss shipping options.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated.
Shipping fees are based on factors including:
- delivery location;
- artwork size and weight;
- packaging requirements; and
- carrier charges.
Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We use Australia Post or Pack & Send (or similar). Insurance is included.
4. Packaging
We take reasonable care to package artworks securely to minimise the risk of damage during transit.
Depending on the artwork, packaging may include:
- protective sleeves;
- acid-free materials;
- bubble wrap;
- reinforced cardboard packaging; and/or
- custom shipping boxes or crates.
Packaging methods may vary depending on the size, medium and value of the artwork.
5. Delivery Times
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Typical delivery times are:
Australia
- Metropolitan areas: approximately 7-14 business days
- Regional areas: approximately 7-14 business days
International
- Allow up to 28 business days depending on destination and customs processing.
Delivery delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including carrier delays, severe weather events, customs inspections, public holidays or other disruptions.
6. Tracking
Where available, tracking information will be provided after dispatch.
It is your responsibility to monitor tracking updates and make any necessary arrangements for receipt of your order.
7. Risk and Delivery
Risk in the artwork passes to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided with your order.
You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is accurate and complete.
We are not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by you.
8. Damaged Deliveries
If your artwork arrives damaged:
- Retain all packaging materials.
- Take clear photographs of:
- the artwork;
- the damage; and
- the external packaging.
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at [Email Address].
We may request additional information to assist with an insurance or carrier claim.
Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy.
9. Lost Shipments
If you believe your shipment has been lost, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.
10. International Orders
International customers are responsible for shipping cost, any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by local authorities.
These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping fee unless expressly stated.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures.
11. Delivery Refusal or Unclaimed Shipments
If an order is returned to us because:
- delivery was refused;
- the shipment was unclaimed; or
- an incorrect address was provided,
we may charge additional shipping costs before resending the artwork.
Any refund requests will be handled in accordance with our Terms of Purchase and applicable law.
